Balance Fantasy With Reality
Eclipses on the Virgo-Pisces axis on March 8 and September 16
March and September are the hotspots for eclipses in 2016—cosmic events known for shaking up the status quo and bringing hidden information to light. Makes sense, metaphorically, when you think about it since eclipses reveal shadows. There are two eclipses in fantasy-fueled Pisces—a solar (new moon) eclipse on March 8 and a corresponding lunar (full moon) eclipse on September 16. The seeds we sow this spring will bring a bountiful and beautiful harvest, provided we fertilize them with all the Pisces positives: creativity, compassion, and soulful intention. But these eclipses can also stir up our vices, addictive tendencies, and self-destruction if we aren’t careful. Keep the therapist on speed dial. Fortunately, a grounding solar eclipse in Virgo on September 1 helps us keep our feet planted on terra firma. The Virgo eclipse is optimal for kicking off a healthy living plan or actively pursuing improvements to our work situations. There’s one more eclipse on March 23—a lunar (full moon) eclipse in Libra, the sign of peaceful and committed relationships. This is the final eclipse in a series that began in 2013. Spring fever could come with a fleet of romantic proposals—business ones too. But there will also be some “shocking” splits as this lunation pushes troubled relationships to their inevitable tipping point.
