things to ponder this full moon/lunar eclipse

“This Full Moon is especially potent, as it is a Lunar Eclipse. Lunar eclipses are relationship-oriented. The “crisis” that these eclipses tend to elicit is a crisis of lack – a time when we suddenly recognize a great need or want.”

…..what am I realizing I need/want/lack in relationships right now?

“This Full Moon urges us to strike a balance between meeting our personal needs and tending to the needs of a significant other, and between independence or autonomy and dependence or companionability.”

…where do I need more balance between caring for myself and caring for others/relationships?

“With the Moon full and bright in the sky, symbolic “illumination” occurs in our own lives. However, these new feelings and revelations are emotional ones, as emotions burst forth into our consciousness. It’s time to express ourselves, and to let things out of our systems. Of course, we might want to exercise some care while doing so, knowing that what is coming out of us is new and not particularly rational as yet. Full Moons are about exposing or illuminating issues that are already there, but that have not yet been dealt with.”

…what do I need to express right now?

“Asserting your self-worth, knowing your value and knowing how to respect others are all key themes of this Full Moon Eclipse.

You may also be encouraged to assess other relationships in your life, such as your relationships with money, your relationship with your work life, or the relationship that you have cultivated with your goals and dreams.

If things have felt uncertain or you have been unsure about how to approach or change a certain area of your life, this Eclipse may also give you the motivation to move forward.”
